Cheesy Bread Recipe with a Spicy Kick

 

Cheesy Bread is super simple to put together. All you need is a few ingredients and you are good to go. It takes about 15 minutes for the whole process and the result is this cheesy goodness with a soft center and crusty bread on the sides. Although Cheesy Garlic Bread tastes amazing; if you are looking to switch and try a different combination then you will love the spicy kick in this cheesy bread recipe.

Steps to follow for this Cheesy Bread Recipe

    1. Preheat the oven. The temperature is high enough to get the crust nice and crispy but gets the cheese nice and bubbly

    1. Place the cheese and chili (if using) on top along with dried parsley

    1. Bake for 10-12 mins and it’s ready

    1. Top with some chili oil and serve!

I use a spice-infused olive oil for the spicy kick but if you would like to make it even spicier then you can finely mince or chop some slender long red chili with or without the seeds and add mix with the cheese before topping it on the bread.

You can use any cheese blend for the recipe but I love a good cheddar cheese blend and that’s what I generally have on hand or use but a cheddar mozzarella blend taste equally incredible.

For the herbs in the recipe; I use dried parsley because it gives a nice flavor without overpowering the taste as fresh parsley might do.

The kind of bread to use depends on what you generally prefer the most. It’s a versatile recipe and most bread will taste incredible with this combination but my recommendation or preference is usually a soft sourdough bread because of that nice texture and flavor that it brings out.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Bread
  • 2 tbsp Dried Parsley
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese shredded
  • 2 tbsp Herb and spice-infused olive oil Sub for a mix of olive oil and paprika
  • 1 Long red chili Finely minced or chopped

Instructions

  • PROCESS: Preheat the oven to 425℉
  • In a baking tray; place the bread slices and top with shredded cheese and minced chili(if using). Sprinkle dried parsley.
  • Bake for 10-12 mins(Adjust the time according to your oven). Once done; drizzle oil and serve!
  • SERVING: Enjoy these on your own or try with your favourite dip.
